Hey everyone! My name is Julia and I just moved to Grande Prairie yesterday as I am working here for the summer and it would be awesome to get out paddling this summer! I started white water kayaking last July and my experience includes class II+ rivers with some class III rapids and I have a strong roll (about 90%). I've paddled with the Paddle Junkies in Calgary and with the North West Brigade Paddling Club in Prince George. This summer, I would also really like to start creeking! I have all the necessary equipment to paddle, the only thing I am lacking is a car. I don't know what the rivers are like up around here but super stoked to find out! Let me know if you want to head out sometime this week!
