All was good. You guys played some sweet games. Maybe you can pull off a first place at nationals July 14th,15th in Innisfail. Though we may be missing our dear Norris for that one Can't wait for summer to hit. Grande Prairie will be the first ones to set up nets outside for sure.

We did pretty good for a bunch of players who really hadn't played together in quite sometime. We'll have to get together and hopefully place first next tournament. Or close to it.

Had a great time at the tournament. Not having a pool sessions since Dec 4th was probably our biggest downfall... at least we'll blame it on that. LOL

Looking forward to more pool sessions before the next Tourney May 5th - EWP Rec. I'll check the status on a Sundre Tournament, they had one March last year.

Looks like we play bright and early at 8:20am on Saturday

There is a chance I may not be able to make it. I got some nasty stomac flu bug. I'll let you know by Thursday evening whether I'll be game to play or not.

The morning session was pretty awesome thing morning. Nice to be back in the pool

Should be OK Brett, we may have 6-7 players instead of 5 but that should be fine.

The organizers are requesting that teams wear the same color shirts... Jamen suggested tight white T-shirts, but I'm leaning towards black. Any thoughts?

BTW, or pool rentals start this week, so all the team members should come out Wednesday evening to brush-up and/or Thursday morning for the drop-in.

Wow they are kicking the rules up a notch this year; same color shirts and helmets on the same team. And of course each team must provide 2 refs.

The registration is up and I think we should place one team from Wapiti in the club "B" division of the tournament. Sarah you may not be happy to hear that the minimum age is 16 and up for the tournament (perhaps we can get you special permission as you are on the U21 women's training squad). Also they are suggesting only intermediate players and up to sign up. I believe the U21 boys will be placing a team into the tournament but not sure on who will be on it (as there may be enough of you to make two teams).

Also we need a Team Name! Any suggestions? Traditional "Wapiti B", Crazy "Hurricane Wapiti", Inspiring "Northern Triumph"

Once we have at least 5 people committed and a team name I will sign us up. If we somehow manage to get 10 people then we will talk about entering a second team and debate on whether or not we should split them up evenly or put one stronger or more dedicated team in.
